This tree is at the north end of the Apple group, and approximately 100 metres south of the vehicle entrance to the park.

Several fallen cones were found to be 2cm in diameter.

General tree description

Cupressus glabra is a medium-sized coniferous tree growing to heights of 10 to 25 metres. It has a conic crown, ascending branches, and flaky reddish bark. The foliage is dense, grey-green or grey in colour and often aromatic. The leaves are scale-like, 2 to 5 mm long, and the cones are globular.
